UPDATE: Apparently the pamphlet publisher didn't appreciate me stealing his bandwidth by direct-sourcing his images just to make fun of them, and shut them off. No bother, though... I have hosting, I was just lazy.
Amy happened upon this Psycho-Christian pamphlet at work the other day. Highlights include the picture of Satan that looks like Freddy Krueger, and the notion that both education and sports were invented by said Satan. The images are ripped off from the website of the tract producer, which I am not including because I think their mission is misguided and ultimately capitalistic. Really, does shit like this ever guide anyone, or at least guide the minute fraction of the people that it turns away permanently?
I got this over a Myspace bulletin from my old friend, James Murray, who, back in the day, was the least political person I knew. That this could actually be allowed to air on corporate television is an encouraging sign. I read that this guy is a liberal television commentator, and I didn't know there could be such a thing, since the mass media is owned by "The Man."
It's ten minutes, but a worthy watch:
Wow... that was a pretty full weekend. I don't know if it relaxed me much at all, but it was stuffed with stimulating stuff.
