Remember all that stuff I already mentioned?  Well, after that, I went to work, gave my last lecture for my Kent world class (which included two of my favorite parts of the semester: the dummy pop quiz, on which everyone gets a good grade and the excusing of various people from the final).   And then, I came home... and while I was home, Amy got a call from the Akron Zoo offering her a job interview.

I took Amy out to "lunner" at Mariachi Locos then to Aldi for groceries (our house was completely devoid of food and we know not to go to the grocery hungry).  Then, it was a... um, nap... and then a show tonight in Kent where the Parsley Flakes (anarchist geographer video-game-pop-punk) came back to rock the May 4 ARA benefit show.

All in all, a pretty damn good day.  I liked it.

Tomorrow, I'm catching the May 4 stuff, going to a meeting about my new class on the American Roadtrip and then (apparently) going to a faculty meeting as the new student rep.  We'll see what all that's about.
