Not long ago, when I was talking about the Danube's influence on European culture in World class, I pseudo-scatted the first first five notes of The Blue Danube, knowing it would convince them to answer.  And it did.  Then, I did the same for the first six notes of the theme from Super Mario Brothers, and the response was louder.  Sad.

19. If you could have one super power what would it be?
Being able to read and fully understand and comprehend books by flipping through the pages like a flip book.  A trip to Borders would be the equivalent of an intellectual cocaine bender (as if it isn't close enough already).

Problems with students in Africa class.  It was the first time students had ever really irritated me.

Probably not often enough.  Sometimes I'm too existential.
