Well, that and the fact that I've got other tasks (catching up in classes, teaching, getting ready for finals, etc.) to deal with, I haven't had much time to blog.
It's okay, you haven't missed too much.
Here's the rub: If you're actually reading this, you should go to http://twotravelers.theshears.com/ to read about our trip to San Francisco. I recommend visiting only if you have broadband, though, because there are a lot of pictures.
If you're not in the mood to read the equivalent of 80 pages double spaced, then you'll at least find pictures there. I know the site is still a little quirky in terms of navigation, but I'm still working on the PHP code to make it right. Either way, you can at least tell what's going on and you should be able to get where you need to go. If you're not looking for (later-will-be) nostalgia of what the trip was and our planning process, skip directly to the section "2. Traveling West..." That'll get you to the meat and bones of the trip quickly. And you can click on any picture to get a larger version.
Nice, eh?
Also, in other news reported in one horrific run-on sentence, I hate my Africa class more than ever before, I was elected president of the Grad Student Association in the geography department, I placed fourth overall individually in the "World Geography Bowl" and won a free atlas on a team that I joined a week before the AAG, joining that team got me $300 for AAG expenses that I didn't know was coming, I'm taking two classes on film over the summer in my first ever "I'm practically a blue-chip football player" schedule, I'm getting a pretty nasty cold, and I think I should move to California since there's more sun there.
I mean, really. There are a lot of things about California that would drive me insane, but the 280-300 days a year of sun would be a lot better for my mental health than this northeastern Ohio bullshit.
