Sunday was a blur of working. I skipped church and worked through the entire day, prepping lectures and study guides so that my week could go easier. The highlight was having the Volvo crap out just one more time. Why not, right? He started running like shit on the way to the grocery, and we helped him limp back home. We'll have to take him back in to get worked on again. He's becoming very expensive, and (I hate to say, because otherwise he's a great car), he's only a piece away from having me consider ditching his ass.
The good news was this: we managed to get an offer to borrow a minivan for a couple of weeks from a family at Amy's church. The bad news? We didn't borrow him until tonight, which meant that I had to take Amy to work wayyyyyyyyy early this morning, and after all was said and done, I was at various parts of work or driving from place to place from 6:45 am to 7:30 pm. Then, we went out to pick up this van, and we got back around 9:45 pm. It was just a long day. A very long day, which included 8 hours of work, 3 hours of lecturing, and about 100 miles of driving.
But a long productive day... between the extra time working on Sunday and today, I managed to get my classes at Stark prepped up until Spring Break in two weeks, including exam study guides. I've still got to get some stuff to finish for my Kent class to make it to break, but this weekend was a good start.
So, this entry was among the most worthless of all time, just like today in the grand scheme of thing. Another day (and a ton of cash) right down the shitter.
