There's a reason for everything, it seems.
The apparent reason for God torturing us in terms of indecision regarding furniture and personal electronics is that, on my way to church today, the Volvo's "check engine" light came on, the engine's power was gone and was running like shit. I pulled a U-turn and brought Virgil back home, because I didn't want to get stranded somewhere.
His service light had come on a couple weeks ago, and we'd had him inspected by a Volvo dealer to no avail. Now, he's shot. Go figure.
Yep, everything happens for a reason.
We ended up not getting a new couch because... we wouldn't want to sit on it anyway after getting raped hard and dry right in the ass by a Volvo mechanic later this week.

I'm hoping it is just a belt or something. We have been stuck in the snow dozens of times this week and we just might have broken a belt from running the Virgil so hard.

So did you guys have to dig out Pedro? Is Virgil not running at all?
I just shoveled the whole driveway by myself and I think I might die.
And Cecil is gone - his new parents are great!

Yeah, that was a trip. We removed like 16 inches off of most of Pedro and the driveway (on the hood, he had at least 20 inches). Shovelling sucks. Virgil runs, but it just ain't right. He barely got up the hill on Tallmadge Ave. He's going to the doctor soon.
