Potlucking with One Million Monkey Video Game Creators.

Surprisingly, the TV show "American Dad" had a surprisingly poignant episode tonight about illegal immigration and sweatshops. I know that "American Dad" is just a general ripoff of "Family Guy," which is a more culturally disposable, break-neck paced and quickly obselete version of "The Simpsons," but this episode was actually a good one.

Go figure.

What did the ever-present "they" used to say? Give a million monkeys a million typewriters and enough time, and one of them will write the greatest novel of all time?

I hear rumors of the second even Wii-lympics, supposedly to happen tonight. Amy beat me badly last time. We had a point system: one point for each set of tennis, one point for each game of baseball, one point for each game of bowling, one point for each hole of golf... and boxing as a tie-breaker. Well, she stole one set of tennis from me (my strongest event), and even though I beat her 2-1 in bowling (her strongest event), she swept all other points.

Also, my third visit of the Great Quaker Experiment was today. I had originally wanted to hit the Wooster meeting (about an hour away) but time got away and I ended up going back to the Kent Meeting. While I've already documented my first visit there, I have to say that this time was different. They were even more friendly (they were surprised that I came back, and happy -- apparently most people who try Quakerism don't). I felt incredibly comfortable and welcome, a new one for me in a church. They also invited me to a potluck next week.

I think I'll go...
