Green Grass

Ha!
Here it is, finally snowing cats and dogs and fish and everything else. I look out my third floor office window and really see just about nothing but white. I can't even see the Dubois bookstore which is directly across the street. I'm excited to take Rikki out to the dog park when certainly no one will want to be there, and letting her play in the snow. I'm excited to maybe go sledding in the next day or two. The snow is really beautiful and uplifting in terms of emotional junk.

Yet, here, while I sit in my office and get ready for my first final (Disasters), I can't seem to shake a day-long crazing for watching some quality baseball. Yeah, there's no better way, so far as I can tell, to spend a nice summer or autumn evening than at a ballpark, eating peanuts and (pre-vegetarianism) ridiculously both disgusting and delicious bratwurst while watching guys wearing glorified pajamas play a silly game.

But what a silly thought to have in this crazy snow storm....

The grass, one would say, is always greener.
