So I Went to Make a Mix-Tape

... and I basically made three. See, I figured, I've been working hard this week and I've been getting a lot of shit done. Compile that with the fact that I've got some shit (as mentioned in the last post) that I need to figure out, and I decided to make an introspective mix tape. And then, I basically made three. I love the fact that we have things like iTunes to organize music. I know, it's not as legit as doing it the old fashioned way, but technology isn't a bad thing! This(These) is(are) a(some) mix tape(s) for me. It's not like I'm trying to give them to someone or something... then you could jerk me around for not putting in a ton of effort.
I think you can see the partially deep-thinking, partially sad bastard, and partially driving around town mix of shit I'm going to have on these things. And maybe this will give you a better window into my thoughts right now than the blog I posted earlier.

Oh, and a couple of random points: today I realized two things about random actors. For one, because The Wedding Singer was showing in the background while I did something else, I noticed that the evil Glenn, the jerk-off who was going to marry Drew Barrymore, was the same guy as Shooter McGavin from Happy Gilmore. Apparently, Adam Sandler knows exactly what his nemesis should look like, and it's that guy.

In another weird casting twist, I realized that the black dude who played Hyde's dad on "That 70s Show" is the same one who made a cameo in High Fidelity. In both cases, a record store is involved. In "That 70s Show," the guy owns a chain of record stores and gives Hyde a job. On High Fidelity, he's seen making a cameo, briefly talking to Rob and Barry about top five something-or-others. Apparently, he's the guy casting agents call when they want an African-American who looks like he knows something about music.
