Excuse my nerd moment.
I had a big night tonight after Amy went to sleep.
I've been working through the franchise mode on Madden '06 for the Gamecube we've gotten on long-term loan from Kory and Amy. I took the Colts, starting from what would have been last year, and led them to three straight Super Bowl titles at All-Madden level. Tonight, it was a typical Peyton Manning playoff game. After setting all-time regular season records with 84 touchdown passes and 6000 yards passing with no interceptions all season.... in Super Bowl XLII, he had six interceptions and no touchdowns. In fact, at halftime, the Dallas Cowboys were leading the Colts 13-0.
A stunning second half comeback found the Colts claiming their third straight Super Bowl title. Here is the celebration:

So, how did I celebrate my all-time favorite football team winning the Super Bowl three straight years?
I fired everyone, including the players and the coaches, dismantled the team, moved it to Akron and made a stadium like the Rubber Bowl, redesigned the uniforms, and called the team the Akron Penguins. Then, I hired a bunch of losers. I have to make the game challenging somehow, right?
