We went and hiked the Gorge Trail at Gorge Metropark. That's where my new profile picture comes from. I would have put the other pictures from our adventure on our website, but alas... it's not online right now.

Bummer, man.

It's okay. I suppose our recent interest in photography of the banal will wear off eventually and then we'll quit using our website to sensationalize the mundane activities of our daily life.

Then again, one man's trash...

Weird thought: I had an urge the today to smoke pot. It wasn't one of those overwhelming urges, like a craving, or anything. It was just a passing thought, like, "gee, wouldn't that be fun to do sometime?" in the way that average people think the same thing about going bowling. I haven't smoked pot with any sort of regularity for... wow... like most of six years. For a while, it was pretty regular but then I quit entirely when I paired off with Satan.

One viewpoint would say: "well, that's a good thing to come out of that, right?" Another would say: "you should have kept the weed and lost the skeaze." Meh. I'm happy with where I am, and one very rare psuedo-urge to do something with pretty disastrous consquences is better than being stupid all the time.

In order to quell the desire, I smoked a Black and Mild outside McGilvrey and pretended to trip over my shoelaces. Well, that part wasn't pretend, but I caught myself before looking too dumb and falling on my ass.
