Okay, I haven't much to say tonight. I said enough last night.
But... reason number 1,429,485,342,324 to love the autumn months: those few short weeks during which you can open your windows at night and welcome cool breezes into your house. I mean, when I lived alone in various capacities, I usually stretched those periods well into like December (so many people would bitch about my apartment/room being cold!). However, now that I'm all growed up and in Ohio where the season is much shorter anyway, the windows-open time is much shorter.
Tonight is one of those nights. Sleeping with access to real air makes you feel human again. There's just something about it.
I'll probably be told that this love for open windows and cool breezes is further proof that I belong in the desert or the great plains. And that'd be great, if we could find a place with summer months in the 60s as well.
Pshaw.
Oh, while I'm at it, you can now go see the pictures from our first hike at Cascade Valley Metropark.
And 15 days until Kent State hockey season!
