See, I've been frustrated lately with web design. I think I know why. For one thing, my design skills and site managing techniques have been stuck in 1999 for quite some time. Then, today, after seeing a friend's website that totally kicked the ass of mine, I decided to step things up a notch.

I decided to join the 21st century, and I did so using mambo, a simple and effective CMS. This tool will take theshears.com from the dark ages of 1999 to the present, and give us cool things like forums, polls, dynamic content, etc. I've been messing with the thing a good portion of this evening.

Now, it's three a.m. and I've just awoken from this fog. I'm disoriented, my face is covered with drool, and I very well may have wet myself while I was away. I had no idea that two hours had passed.... I thought it was about 10 minutes.

This is just like my first time on Google Maps, only that experience cost me basically an entire day. Represent the nerdiness.
