I've only got a few minutes before I'm laid victim to Nyquil.
I felt pretty damn awful this afternoon... awful like sick. I wanted nothing more than to leave McGilvrey and skip terrorism class, and think about something entirely different. So, that's what I did. I've now skipped my second class of my graduate career.
And I feel guilty as fuck. I also was going to watch Jeff's band, Parsley Flakes play for the local BofB championships tonight after class. That tanked as well. So, instead, I will shamelessly plug them. PARSLEY FLAKES!!!!! PARSLEY FLAKES!!!!! PARSLEY FLAKES!!!!! PARSLEY FLAKES!!!!! PARSLEY FLAKES!!!!! PARSLEY FLAKES!!!!! PARSLEY FLAKES!!!!! PARSLEY FLAKES!!!!! PARSLEY FLAKES!!!!! PARSLEY FLAKES!!!!! PARSLEY FLAKES!!!!! PARSLEY FLAKES!!!!! Listen to it! Fun political poppy-punk!
Anarchism!
It's been almost three years since I skipped more often. One time at Ball State, I skipped office hours and went to the zoo with Amy, but office hours don't count. Such a children's book way to skip, too.
The other time? Amy tempted me on her day off a few months back. She is my weakness.
Don't worry, this won't become a habit like my undergrad. I just had a bad day both physically and mentally. Bad thing is, once I came home and did something entirely different for a good while, I was just fine. I needed to "RELAX," like the guy's shirt on The Wedding Singer.
There's a movie reference only hard-but-legal drugs could bring out of me.
My typing is really starting to suck. I have to think too much.
I downloaded The Office series. It's been our entertainment lately since we're both getting pretty fed up with antenna television. The Office rules. Watch it. Both versions: US and UK. It works perfectly with my sense of humor.
My blog has received 105 hits during a week in which I've posted absolutely nothing. It makes me a little proud, but a little disturbed. If you read it on a regular basis, subscribe to it so I know. You can set the thing to non-notify for posts, but subscribe. I like to know who I'm talking to.
Speaking of hits, we've got the 5,000 hit milestone coming up. I may actually award someone for that. We're at 4748. I'll update the number as time goes.
