Remember my sleepless night last night where I had been granted so much time by insomnia that I could post nearly 1,000 words about a mundane restaurant experience?
All that caffeine from the restaurant made me so wired that I didn't get to sleep until 5:45 am this morning. I finally gave up on tiring myself around 3:30, and then I just laid there, staring into space, perfectly comfortable but not tired. In order for things to work well today with Amy's in-laws in town, I had agreed to drive her to work this morning... at 7:25.
"Ouch" is the word I'd use to descriiiiiiiiiiiiii-i-i-i-i-i-i-ibe!
That all went well and good. I drove Amy to work, at breakfast with the inlaws, went computer shopping at Best Buy (for them), then picked Amy up when she got off early. We went all the way out to Rolling Acres mall, which is out "in the ghet-tohhhh...." (Elvis, dogs!) and is nearly abandoned. Amy's mom really wanted to visit a JC Penney outlet that was there. It was one of four stores in this shopping mall. The store was scary and very full of cut-throat bargain shoppers. I was ready to go after about 10 minutes, but we spent at least an hour there trying to find "deals." Blah blah blah.
Exhausted from all of this, we came back to the house. Now, Amy, her mom and her dad are all taking naps. As for me, the one who's going on less than two hours of sleep? Well, you're reading what I'm doing.
Amy and her mom are sitting in our couch-come-loveseat (thanks to Mr. Electric Saw!) together, snoring. Actually, they sound not unlike the electric saw that helped complete the transition of our old couch into a love seat. Use your imagination on all counts.
Even the dogs are napping and snoring.
So here I am. I've never really been much of a napper, and whenever I do nap it screws up my sleeping cycles. I have to stay awake, or I'll be going to bed about 5:45 am tonight as well.

Believe me, it is certainly mocking me at this point. Beyond that, they're planning to make me choose where to eat dinner tonight. They said since I didn't eat last night that I should be the chooser tonight. That is one of the worst questions to ask me. I'd rather go with the flow with things like that and make everyone else happy. As long as it's not Chinese food, I'm generally happy to stuff my fat face anywhere. Unfortunately, that's not an option tonight. I hate choosing. Then again, I am bitchy for lacking sleep.

I really don't want to choose, but Amy's really being shitty about enforcing it. Whatever. I'm about 10 seconds from declaring tonight a White Castle night.
If they want different, then they can choose different.
