Barefoot Executive and the Seeds of Change

I'm sitting here with Sancha, watching The Barefoot Executive and thinking about a paper I'm writing for Seeds of Change magazine. That's the KSU activist magazine, and I promised them 2,500 words on the end of the American Empire. I've got it pretty well outlined in my head, and I think I may just sit down and write it tomorrow.

The Barefoot Executive is not as good as I remembered it being. Then again, I'm remembering watching it when I was about eight. Kurt Russell and John Ritter in 1971 are interesting to see.

Amy is calling about reservations for Spring Break. We got a free weekend in a state park lodge way back in October when we donated a little cash to the WKSU radio station, and we're cashing in on that over spring break. We also might take a short trip to Niagara/Toronto for the fun of it. Depends on cash.

It was 72 degrees here today. Tonight it's windy and snow is on the agenda for tomorrow. Fuckin' weather. And, it was humid today so my 'fro was super huge.

I'm looking forward to working more on this article. When it's done and published, I will post a link to it. I'm excited to publish in a magazine, if they decide to use my stuff. Usually activist things are happy to have a reasonably coherent and well-thought article.

The pressure change is giving me a pretty rough headache.

Amy says we're scheduled for Salt Fork State Park on the 25th and 26th. Suh-weet.
